At work the other day one of my friends asked me “why do you drive old VWs?” It actually got me thinking…why DO I? I guess I don’t have just one simple answer, but here are some things that come to mind.

I’ve been adding to my collection of VW Bus toys lately. This is now the crown jewel of the collection. It’s made by a company called Wiking and is from the 1950s. This would have been found at dealerships to keep the kids busy, but also to demonstrate the functionality of the various bus models.
